Hawksbill Sea Turtle - Discover

The Hawksbill Sea Turtle is found mainly through the worlds tropical oceans, in coral reefs. they feed mainly on sponges from sea crevices on the reef.


They also eat sea anemones and jellyfish.


They are around 90-150 pounds weight and 30-35 inches long

They are helpful in our marine ecosystems and help maintain the health of coral reefs and sea grass beds.


They are currently in criticaly endanged.


The scientific name of the Hawksbill sea turtle is Eretmochelys imbricata
